Asociacion Pro Integracion Educativa Roatan (PIER) is a Honduras non-profit organization (NGO).
Brain Spaces, Inc, a USA 501c3 corporation, coordinates US donations to PIER projects.

PIER'S 2011 - 2012 ACTION PLAN
I. SAND CASTLE LIBRARY & COMMUNITY CENTER $23,000 needed
Components: Sand Castle Library programs, tutoring services, Community Center development, & Brain Spaces
Objective: Increase the literacy rate on Roatan by providing easy access to books and activities that improve the reading abilities of clients

II. BILINGUAL EDUCATION $1,500 needed
Components: School Outreach, Teachers Resource Center, E-Learning Centers, Teacher Training
Objective: Foster a quality bilingual education program on Roatan

III. JOB TRAINING CENTER
Components: Adult Basic Education, Workplace Readiness seminar, and Vocational Training $12,000 needed
Objective: Establish sustainable quality job training program for Roatan
